You'll find Swiftblade's Dojo in southwest Hyrule
Town. Swiftblade is your main master throughout the game - while other Dojos
only have one move to teach you, he has four that are unlocked as you gain more
items and abilities. |
| |
Grimblade can be found in southeast Hyrule Castle
Garden under a patch of grass. You have to find the lantern and light his
torches before he can teach you anything. |
| |
Waveblade is found in a tree south of the Temple of
Droplets, and west of the Major's Cabin, though you'll need the flippers to
access his dojo. |
| |
Grayblade's Dojo is situated in the northeast of
Mt. Crenel. |
| |
You can find the Spirit of Swiftblade's Dojo in the
southeast of Castor Wilds under a tomb. You'll need the Pegasus Boots to reach
it, and for the spirit to teach you anything you'll need to know all seven
moves. |

The Spin Attack is the first attack you receive.
When you charge your sword and release, Link will spin around like a tornado,
great for dispatching enemies when you're surrounded.
You can get this move from Swiftblade's Dojo after you've finished the Deepwood
Shrine.
This move can be upgraded by fusing Kinstones with
Grayblade. |
| |
Sword Beam fires a beam from your sword when you're
at full health, similar to a move in the original Legend of Zelda.
You can get this move from Grimblade's Dojo after you've found the lantern. |
| |
The Dash Attack is performed by equipping both your
sword and Pegasus Boots, and holding down your Boots button to charge. Link will
hold his sword forward and you can dash through swathes of enemies.
You can get this move from Swiftblade's Dojo after you've found the Pegasus
Boots. |
| |
Peril Beam fires a beam from your sword when you
have just one heart left, similar to the Sword Beam, but at the opposite end of
the life spectrum.
You can get this move from Waveblade's Dojo after you've found the flippers. |
| |
The Rock Breaker doesn't, in contradiction to its
name, break rocks, though it does enable you to break pots with your sword.
You can get this move from Swiftblade's Dojo after you've found the White Sword. |
| |
The Roll Attack is performed by pressing your sword
button just as you finish a roll. If you hit an enemy, you'll annoyingly do a
spin slash, when the usual thrust would have been preferable.
You can get this move from Grayblade's Dojo after you've finished the Cave of
Flames. |
| |
The Down Thrust is similar to a move in The
Adventure of Link; at the height of a jump, press the sword button and Link will
slam to the ground with his sword thrusting downwards.
You can get this move from Swiftblade's Dojo after you've found Roc's Cape. |
| |
The Great Spin Attack is performed by charging your
sword, releasing, and then rhythmically pressing the sword button while moving
around.
You can get this move from Swiftblade the First's Dojo after you've learned all
the other moves.
This move can be upgraded by fusing Kinstones with
Waveblade. |

Scarblade's Dojo is revealed by fusing Kinstones
with Grayblade. It's under a waterfall in northeast Castor Wilds. He'll teach
you to charge a spin attack faster. |
| |
Splitblade teaches you to charge your Four-Gauge
faster. He can be found by fusing Kinstones with Grimblade, who will open a
waterfall in Veil Falls. |
| |
Greatblade's Dojo is opened by fusing Kinstones
with Waveblade in Lake Hylia. It's in a waterfall, and inside, he'll teach you
to hold a Great Spin Attack for longer. |
