Hey, have you ever played Beyond Good & Evil for the GCN? It’s Zelda, but with a staff and a pictobox as your main weapons.
Very heavily influenced by the Zelda series. If Espy has time, I think that would be a great game to write his next article on.

I haven’t played it, but if I see it around I’ll definitely consider it. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it!

Yeah I’ve heard great things about that game. Personaly I’ll be looking at Fable, Terranigma and Goemon 64 as my AotC games.

And probably on every other console.

But you don’t have to look for it now.

Yeah, personally I’d play the console version. I’ve played both the console and PC versions, and to me, the console version is better.
If you want to play it just for the review though, I’d go with whatever is easier. You can also get the game if you have GameTap.

Beyond Good and Evil is most certainly worth picking up. At 10 bucks it’s a steal. Very fun, very awesome game. Speaking of which, ever played Okami?
Although, I’ve been debating an editorial that takes a more devil’s advocate approach to this whole notion of “Zelda clone” games

Okami was fucking awesome. Even better than TP in my opinion

I’ve been playing a Zelda clone called Crusader of Centy on the Mega Drive. The article should be comedy gold.
