Aw man… So much for any quality Zelda until next year.
Before anyone says anything, I already said that it took me one day to beat PH. So I miss my challenge.
Playing Master Quest to relieve this feeling, but it isn’t enough.

Phantom Hourglass was pretty easy, so maybe they have bumped up the difficulty this time. I probably won’t buy this right away, even though my inner zelda fan says I should. I just don’t want to be disappointed like I was with PH.

That’s why I’m going to borrow it from a friend first.

Anyone who expects Zelda games to be hard should just hit themselves with a sledgehammer in the crotch repeatedly.

Though two-minute-long dungeons are a bit too far, no? I think I spent about three hours in the first dungeon in TP.

Salt, I don’t want them to be hard. I want to actually have some form of challenge. I know the location of pretty much everything in OoT, and it still is a challenge when I play it.
That long on the first one? Ah well, to each his own… not quite that long for me.
It did take me at least an hour for the Water Temple in TP, though… naturally…

My uncle and I beat FS in an hour; and I beat FSA within the day. Those are side games and so it’s not as bad, especially considering FS was just a pack-in game. But when you have a “main” game (as much of a main game as PH can be) it’s ridiculous to have it that easy. I definitely cannot wait for this Kind Code thing to come out. I wonder how much of the theory behind it will be implemented into New Super Mario Bros Wii and also how they’re planning to use it for the new Zelda (Wii). I miss the challenge of the games. That’s why I’m constantly playing Zelda II. I’ve yet to beat that game but it’s still fun to play.

Yeah, I try not to thing of those two. FSA took me four hours exactly. No help. It was a good multiplayer game though.
Congrats to Zelda II for being hard, right? Personally, I disliked the format of the game…

Many Zelda fans complained that TP was too easy. I don’t necessarily agree with them.

I think it was easier than OoT, which has kind of become the standard. That’s why it’s “too easy,” it’s being compared to the best game ever made.

Well, if that’s the case, then…
*hits self with sledgehammer repeatedly*

Well difficulties of a game are a tricky subject to compare on, because people grow and become better at games both naturally and through practice. When I first played OoT I had a rough time with it. Now it’s a piece of cake, especially considering the first boss can be defeated in literally less than a second. Twilight Princess was easy, but it wasn’t so easy that it was boring or took away from the game (in my opinion).
That’s another reason why I think the Kind Code project should be implemented soon. And not only for different people, but for the same individual who gets better as a gamer and becomes ready for higher challenges (more so than just having different difficulty levels).

But Leirin, you’re a girl…

How is OoT the best game ever? Stop passing your opinion as facts, brocelot.
And NM, stop you know that’s not true.

The painting that Miyamoto showed at the E3 roundtable has been released. If anyone’s missed it, you can download the hi-res one here (or tons of other places):

By the way, sorry if this sounds unrelated… but…
Am I the first to think… the new conductor outfit with a V-neck that Link’s wearing… looks a bit too… low-cut?
*sweat*
