The Mario icon that you see is just the website icon for all of Nintendo Japan’s website. So even all of their small off shoot sites use the same icon.
The site is odd for sure. I played the little fortune game and I think I just got a Monopoly Chance card…

All I can say is… what… the… heck. It was confusing. Were those supposed to be tarot?
I got question marks, then I got Tingle the second time… Wish I knew what she was saying…

Odd. I did check the Mario icon on other pages to make sure it wasn’t a general icon, but it didn’t come up.

First trains in Zelda, now a TV!!!???!?

Well, ‘Tingle’ is kind of a spinoff series, not having to do much with the actual Zelda universe/timeline (plus, I get the feeling it’s non-canon).
I lack Flash Player so I can’t view the website, anyway. Curse you new-age official sites and your crazy Flash usage! (I might’ve been able to translate some of it for you, too, Espy.)

I have a Japanese-speaking friend who might have been able to help, but she’s busy right now… moving to Japan! The irony.

Lockman, quit spamming please… I can understand you want people joining, but not on the news board. Use forums to advertise for forums.
So links are working again? Great.

Ehh yeah. They “were” working before. We were just too lazy to type out the XHTML. Our old way is broke, where it does it for us. But we’re going to do some coding ourselves for a bit. There are reason’s for this that you will find out in the quite possible near future.

Thanks. It’s short for “Master Sword Lynk;” I came up with it a while ago.

Is this new Tingle game going to be catered to the hardcore Tingle player? It seems like a lot more casual and kid-oriented and not as dark and mature as Rosy Rupeeland. Obviously Nintendo does not care about us.

LOL.
But I don’t think Rosy Rupeeland was dark nor mature. Then again I’ve never played it…

Show me a hardcore Tingle player and I’ll show you someone who needs to get out more.

Well it’s actually TWO new Tingle games. A handheld game sequel to Rosy Rupee Land called Color Changing Tingle’s Love Balloon Trip, and a DSi download game called Too Much Tingle Pack. New magazine scans are up: http://kotaku.com/5301905/not-one-new-tingle-title-but-two

I agree with TMP. Ever since Tingle’s first appearance in Majora’s Mask, you could tell he was a deep and complex character, with a dark past. The man was rejected by his family for his beliefs, that’s some seriously deep shizzle.
In the last game, while it was little more friendlier than Tingle other appearances, it still remained a dark tone overall, touching worrying issues such as extreme poverty, which our dark and brooding hero has to face and overcome, in order for him to succeed without financial support from his bigoted family.

Heh… wonderful arguments. I still think the person who decided to give Tingle his own game in the first place was on LSD tho.
