Normal Songs

Song of Time
How To Obtain This Song
When you manage to get your Ocarina of Time back from Skull Kid, you'll have a flashback to when Princess Zelda first taught you this song.

How To Use This Song
There are three ways to use this song:

Song of Time
Playing the song normally will send you back in time to Day 1, and will save your game. You'll lose non-essential items like rupees and arrows, and dungeons will reset.

Song of Double Time
If you play each note twice, you'll have the opportunity to advance time 12 hours.

Inverted Song of Time
If you play the Song of Time backwards, you'll slow down time, giving you more time to explore, complete quests and finish dungeons.

Song of Healing
How To Obtain This Song
When you return to Day 1 for the first time, the Happy Mask Salesman will teach you this song.

How To Use This Song
You can use this on people who have a broken heart to advance the quest, and if you play it next to a Gossip Stone, it will release a pink fairy for you to catch in a bottle.

Epona's Song
How To Obtain This Song
You need to make your way to Romani Ranch before the first night to obtain this song (which requires the use of a Powder Keg). Talk to Romani, who is worried about the impending alien attack, and she'll teach you a song (that you should really already know) that Epona seems to like if you complete a training task.

How To Use This Song
This song will call Epona in selected outdoor areas, and it can be used to milk cows if you have a empty bottle.

Song of Soaring
How To Obtain This Song
You can find an stone plaque near Woodfall. If you stand in front of it, and take out your Ocarina, you can learn the Song of Soaring.

How To Use This Song
One of the most useful songs in the game, this can be used to warp to any Owl statue that you've activated by hitting with your sword. You can also warp to the beginning of a dungeon by playing this song.

Song of Storms
How To Obtain This Song
On the first day, there's a tombstone in Ikana Graveyard that contains another stone plaque with the songs notes.

How To Use This Song
Well, you can use it simply to summon rain, and it sounds excellent, so you might want to listen to it for enjoyment. It's actual use is to stop Sharp from attacking you in Ikana Village.

Sonata of Awakening
How To Obtain This Song
The Monkey being held prisoner in Deku Palace will teach you this song in return for the retrieval of the Deku Princess.

How To Use This Song
As Deku Link, go to Woodfall and find the tree trunk with a Deku carving on it. Play this song with your pipes to reveal Woodfall Temple.

Goron Lullaby
How To Obtain This Song
The first part is obtained from the Elder Goron. He can be found on the path to Goron Village in a snowball, but he'll need to be thawed using hot spring water. If you play this to the crying Goron in the Village, you'll be taught the second part.

How To Use This Song
This can be used to put Goron's to sleep - first, the crying baby, and second, the Giant Goron who is preventing you from crossing the bridge to Snowhead Temple.

New Wave Bossa Nova
How To Obtain This Song
You need to collect all the Zora eggs from the Gerudo Fortress, and drop them in the tank.

How To Use This Song
By playing this to Lulu, you'll cheer her up and gain access to the Great Bay Temple.

Elegy of Emptiness
How To Obtain This Song
This is received by defeating King Yigorse in Ikana Palace.

How To Use This Song
This can be used to solve puzzles on the path to and in the Stone Tower. By standing on a switch, you can play this song to leave a replica of yourself to keep the switch held down. You can only make one copy of each version of Link, and as Deku Link isn't heavy enough to press many switches, you have to think smart during puzzles.

Oath to Order
How To Obtain This Song
This is obtained from the Giant of Woodfall.

How To Use This Song
At the top of the Clock Tower, at the showdown with Skull Kid, you should play this song to call the four Giants who will hold the Moon while you defeat Majora's Mask.
