Comics produced a range
of comics in the early
90s featuring multiple
Nintendo characters,
like Mario, Samus and
Link. The Zelda comic
followed, despite being
named after the first
game, the events of the
second. It also took
inspiration from the
characterisations and
conventions established
in the Zelda cartoon
series.
There were 5 issues of
the Zelda comic, with
each issue containing a
couple of stand-alone
stories. As each issue
passes, Link and Zelda
seem to get closer in
their relationship, but
Link never gets "that"
kiss.
