Link’s Awakening Confirmed for New 3DS Virtual Console
In Zelda news on Wednesday 29 September 2010
It seems that Ocarina of Time isn’t the only Zelda game getting a new life on the 3DS - Nintendo announced at their press conference today that the new console will feature a Virtual Console for portable games. Game Boy and Game Boy Colour games were the first batch announced (though you can bet on games for the Game Gear and other lesser-known consoles appearing eventually).
The first two games were announced were the classic Super Mario Land (which I think is one of those games that EVERYONE must have played at some point), and Link’s Awakening DX - an enhanced, Game Boy Colour port of the very first portable Zelda game.
No prices announced yet, but we’ll keep you up-to-date.

Been a while since I’ve visited, I’ll have to catch up.
Lockman, I thought the same thing. And I hope it also has gameboy advance games.
