Overview

The world's first-ever glimpse of Link in 3D was in this tech demo for the Nintendo 64. In it, Link and a Knight are having a sword dual in real-time, and at the time this was incredibly dynamic and exciting after the simplistic 2D battles the series had enjoyed so far. The effects were mind-blowing, though the reflection's used on Link's sword and shield, and on the Knight's armour, were not in real time, and the N64 pumped out vastly superior graphics in its lifetime.
