When was Zelda Elements opened?

We opened the site on Saturday 4th August 2001.

Are you accepting new affiliates?

We aren't actively seeking new affiliates, but if you have a site of any size that is of considerable quality, then feel free to get in contact with us, because we do read every submission.

Are you accepting new staff members?

Yes! We're always looking for people with fresh ideas. If you think you could bring something different to our site, then please get in contact with us.

What do you review scores mean?

Simply, a 10 is perfect and revolutionary. 9 is amazing, 8 is really good, 7-5 are good but flawed, and anything under 5 (average) is worth leaving alone.

What programs did you use to make the site?

We use Adobe Photoshop 7 for the graphics and Microsoft Frontpage for the HTML. To exchange files with our server, we use SmartFTP.

Why didn't you reply to my email?

Years of stupid emails have meant that while we do read all emails, we don't have much time to read poorly written ones, or ones asking questions that are answered on the site. While we do try our best to respond to all intelligent emails, time constraints and Nexus' poor organisational skills mean that some might slip through the cracks.

Why didn't you code the site in PHP?

Well, we don't know how to code a site in PHP, but also, how many Zelda sites can you think of, off the top of your head, that are awkward to navigate thanks to poorly-implemented CMS systems? We like things to vary from page to page because it gives the site a hand-crafted feel.

Does this site have an RSS feed?

We do, and you can use it by pointing your juicy RSS muncher towards http://feeds.feedburner.com/zeldaelements.
